Ancient forests, alpine terrain, coastal marine habitats, and the largest river restoration in U.S. history make Olympic National Park the ultimate outdoor living laboratory for our Grade 6 students. We travel to Lake Crescent in the Pacific Northwest to collect and identify macroinvertebrates, study the adaptations of local mammals, explore the wild coastline, and more. The goal of this STEM trip is for students to learn about a healthy relationship between natural and human communities and how to foster sustainability. (Estimated Cost: $1,470.00/student)
