Welcome to AA's STEM Department!
As a STEAM-focused school, every student at American Academy receives ongoing Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math education as a part of many of their academic core classes. In an effort to deepen this instruction in order to better prepare children for an increasingly STEAM-dependent world, we decided to also offer intensive Art and STEM instruction delivered by specially trained teachers. The STEM Department has elementary and middle school teachers at every campus and is responsible for creating and delivering the STEM portion of our intensive STEAM focus. Our curriculum is constantly evolving as we work to consistently build on and grow the technical skills, knowledge, and habits of mind students need to succeed in these fields. We love offering incredibly unique opportunities to all of our students!
