American Academy

About Infinite Campus

Because American Academy is part of the Douglas County School District (DCSD), American Academy is required to use Infinite Campus (IC), an online student information system, to store, access and manage student data. We use IC to report absences, gather enrollment information, track fees, etc., and our teachers use it as a grade book. American Academy teachers post all homework assignments in Infinite Campus. Parents and students (Grades 5 and up) also have online access to their own information through Infinite Campus.
 
The Infinite Campus Parent Portal is used year-round for parents and students to:
  • Monitor, in real time, assignments, due dates, grades, and attendance.
  • Review and print current year report cards.
  • Read DCSD district-level news and announcements.
 
The EngagED Parent Portal is a system used during Express Check-In (every July) to:
  • Update student Health Information (allergies, medications, conditions, etc.).
  • Update student Media Limitations.
  • Pay annual Student Fees (the MySchoolBucks application is used to make online payments for student fees).
  • Review district-required information.
