Part artist, part engineer but all Coloradan! I’ve lived in Colorado almost my entire life and love everything about this beautiful state but most of all our majestic Rocky Mountains! I love to read, write and watch great movies, but also enjoy getting outside and seeking out adventure. Master’s Degree in Communication and the Arts. I’ve been engaging students with robotics and coaching FLL teams ever since the original LEGO Mindstorm kit came out, and have been working with LEGO Education over the last three years flying around the country and educating teachers on the implementation of the various LEGO Education kits in their classrooms.
Amanda Germaine
Elementary Technology Instructor, Parker
I am originally from Mississippi, and received my B.S. in Business Education from Blue Mountain College and my Master’s in Technology and Education from Mississippi State University. I have taught business/technology classes of all levels from Elementary, High School, and College. However, over the last 10 years, I have been a stay at home mom with three wonderful children. After moving to Colorado five years ago, I have had the privilege of substitute teaching for Douglas County and our awesome American Academy. In addition, last year was my first full-time teaching at AA as the Technology Elementary teacher. I can definitely say that I have a love for teaching! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children!
