Xiomara Orue
I am originally from New York and received my B.A. in Music at the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, City University of New York. My areas of focus included Music Education with specialized focus in Orchestra, Band, Choir and General Music. I have implemented orchestras and bands in several schools. I also directed a church choir and symphonic church orchestra for over five years in New York. My love of music stems from being raised in a very musical family, where I first learned to play the piano with my mother, attending yearly piano auditions held at Carnegie Hall with the National Guild of Piano Teachers through high school. I enjoy playing tennis, skiing and video gaming with my husband in my very limited free time.

Amanda Rusten
I’m a proud Colorado native. I received my Bachelor's degree in music performance at the University of Denver and, following further studies at the Queensland Conservatory in Australia, continued studies at DU to receive my Masters in Education. My hobbies include running, hiking, yoga, drawing and traveling the world. I perform professionally with a variety of music groups all over Denver including my wind quintet, Gossamer Winds. I strive to provide a music classroom in which students are given the tools to tap into their own musical abilities and experience joy and success in expressing the music that lies within them. I love to spend time with my husband and two Italian greyhounds.

Amanda Pearo
I hail from a rural area of Long Island, NY, where my family raised horses and bred Chihuahuas. I earned both my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Music Education from the State University of New York at Fredonia, where I also continued to cultivate my theatrical experience through opera, musicals, and dramatic plays. I have directed and participated in many assortments of music ensembles and I received thirteen years of dance training whilst competing both regionally and nationally. My dance experience includes tap, ballet, jazz, modern, hip-hop, lyrical, and pointe. Some of my favorite activities are running and hiking with my Pomeranian, Ella, pottery, home-vinting, learning new instruments, yoga, reading sci-fi novels, and gardening.
